My partner and I chose this rental company based on positive reviews from close friends who have been using Car Free services for some time. We booked a car two months prior to our planned trip abroad. We changed the date of the car pickup while on the road. Luckily, a close friend warned us the day before that there was no car available on the day we selected! However, we were still given a higher class car at the same price. We had the option to change the car at another rental agency in Poznan, but we were already behind schedule. The level of customer service on the hotline left much to be desired. The representative was unaware of many things, and their information was misleading. They misled us by saying that cash payment was possible upon pickup, which turned out to be false. Entering incorrect dates resulted in not having the selected car available. However, the male staff members who brought and picked up the car were all right. The only downside was the high cost of fuel for the car we received. We chose a diesel engine car for better fuel economy, but we were given a gasoline car that consumed between 7-9 liters per 100 kilometers. The costs associated with fuel increased significantly, which was an unplanned additional expense.
